Technical 2 old characters in barracks

Hi,
There are 2 of my old characters in barracks (they are both few years old) and i was wondering, if they can be restored somehow?
Its been few years since I used them but as their info is still visible in barracks I thought that they were not deleted completely?
I am just curious

You just set them as active. If you already have 10/10 active characters, you need to deactivate character(s) to make room on your active character list.

It seems that they are set as active (both are green check marked on the right side) but i cant choose them in game.
I only have 3 characters if we count these 2. Just created a new one couple of days ago and there are 2 in barracks with come random names starting with C_

I have no idea how this has happened because i checked that couple of times in the last few days but...
I opened the game and logged into Icecrown one more tiem and now they are there... I would give my nech for them not being there as i literally checked that yesterday...
