Hi!
I just started a toon in Lord, i made an undead warlock since it is always my go to class, but I also enjoy healing so much.
While i'm lvling my lock, sometimes i wonder if i should lvl another toon, I'm thinking about holy paladin or Rshaman. My concern is, i dont like to spend time waiting for rdf as a dps. I would like to know if I should keep lvling my lock, or start a healing class. What is the most sought class or the least popular class in Lorda?
With warlock you can at least level efficiently while waiting for an RDF to pop.
I leveled a resto shaman to 80 last week, and let me tell you, even with heirlooms on Icecrown, that leveling experience outside of dungeons was pure pain. It was slow, and it was draining. Constant mana breaks and fights were long, as your lightning bolt cast will be 2.5 secs and it won't do that much damage and will get pushback to oblivion. You can do the totem dance and shock spam, but that takes space and mana. Neither of those you have endless amount of.
Dungeons were great and entertaining though, as a reminder I had heirloom items, so I had extra mana and SP.
What didn't help things go any smoother, was the lack of leather and eventually mail items with int/sp. You'll greed your cloth boss drops, but lo and behold 2 cloth users needing it. Good luck asking if you could have scraps. I strongly recommend picking tailoring to get some guarantees of some gear upgrades every now and then. It didn't help what RDF bags were bad rng for me and liked to offer tank & physical dps way too much as I only got, and I kid you not, one item with int (yes, taste the salt).
Gearing progress on holy paladin I imagine would be the same. Not much of drops you could legitly need, so pick tailoring.
