Lordaeron Lost heirlooms on deleted low level characters due to inactivity

Hello I recently came back to play after a long time, but realised that my old characters that had heirlooms on them were deleted due to them being low level and inactive. Is it possible to get those heirlooms back? Can't remember 100% which I had, but I know I had a bunch of them scattered on my low level characters.

Items are deleted with the characters. There's no getting them back unless you bought them with coins.

I'm pretty sure that on Lordaeron you cannot buy gear, except cosmetic items am I correct? I didn't think my heirlooms would be deleted with the characters, since they are account bound, I even forgot to remove them tbh I just stopped playing for some reason.. This is sad

Heirlooms being account bound means you can send them to any character on the same realm as long as the items exist. But if they are deleted along the character they were on, nothing can be done to restore them.
