First ever time playing Warmane/Wow

Hello all of u guys that are still active in here lol.

I wanted to get into an mmo thats gonna keep me out of my boredom for some of the free hours that i have in a day. I dont want nothing thats gonna straight up get me into PVP , wanna kinda learn some of the stuff first like playing pve and then ill get into.
So what im trying to say is that i wanna play on a server or a realm idk how yall call it where i can chill and learn.

So i wanted a suggestion on like what should i start first or i just straight just jump into the game and thas it.

Hellou! I have played years both on lordaeron and icecrown, in my opinion it might be more relaxing to try Icecrown since its bigger population and gearing is so much faster with votepoint shop if not much time to farm pre-icc gear, and raids themselves are more relaxing (at least in my experience). Less rewarding in some sense though, I suppose.
About classes, I do not know whats best- I can only say I had most interesting time leveling as a subtlety rogue but I didnt have any hurry in leveling
