Chat Restriction
Ever since I started playing around 4 days ago, I would randomly get a message on my screen saying I cant talk again for X amount of time and it would happen even if I haven't said a thing at all. I could just be questing or gathering and it would show up. I could be in the middle of a conversation in guild chat and it would show up. Is there any way to fix this issue?

you have an addon that is spamming chat for sure, maybe it is spamming global chat (like autoflood addon)
turn off all your addons and check again.

I am in fact using carbonite so this is most likely the issue. Thank you for the help.
