WotLK Which shaman spec would be the best with a rogue duo? (both new to pvp/arena)

As the title says, im interested in knowing which one of my 3 shaman specs would be the best to pair with my friend's rogue

he is currently leveling on icecrown and he is actively telling me how much he likes killing people in world pvp - which made me question how can we combine our mains and push arena together

which comp would be the best for that climb? (i dont mind playing resto in this case if i have to) please recommend specs for both him and me

I think going resto aint a good idea with rog. I've seen many ele sham/sub rogs back then on Arena Tournament but idk how that suitable for the current meta. Ench/Sub can be also rlly fun but idk how far you can go. I would avoid playing Assa even if its fun. Ticking poisons make swaps more difficult, and the 2 dpses ive mentioned are way better with fast and cordinated target swaps then tunnel visioning the kill target whole game.
