So I see people using /yell chat or /trade chat to advertise that they are buying green items for hours. I found a guy in Ogrimmar who does this and is never there. Meaning he is AFK. His ad is something like.....Buying all Green/Blue items and COD mail them to him via the mail.
So are we allowed to AFK macro Buying or Selling items?? I'd like to double check before I do something like this.
Anyone who could let me know if this is against the rules, I would greatly appreciate it.

Being AFK is allowed.
Spamming chat with autoflood is allowed.
Manually interacting with the game to avoid automated AFK kick is allowed.
Setting up automated process to avoid AFK kick or game interaction would be against rules.

Not everything is in the rules. Doing things via automated means beyond what can be done with addons is not allowed. You can download (or create) an addon that sends a message every x seconds without your intervention, but you can't create an addon that moves your character without your intervention. Therefore, the former is allowed, whilst the latter isn't.

Correct not everything is. But if it is a rule....shouldn't it be listed in the rule section somewhere?? That's why I am asking. I'd love to afk advertise that Im buying or selling a certain item and to CoD it to me. But I want clarification so I don't receive a ban or any infraction. Is that too much to ask??
