Hi Warmane team,
Would it not be effective to track to which char or account the bots send the mats to, or IP addresses that are the same, or even track trading between accounts to stop this infestation once and for all?
Regardless of what zone I go to, if I do pvp or herb/mine. I find countless bots, sometimes lvl 10/12 in Wintergrasp or Dragonblight, but mostly paladins with the same gear.
The account gets banned, great, in 10 min a new bot is there with ease, and the bot owner still makes profit untouched since "well, its second account".
I know the admins are doing a great job, and so far, on multiple characters I played, every time I reported a bot, they got banned.
So far, I think you guys have banned over 50+, but the fight never ends because the main account behind the bots remains untouched. Just as an example, did Wintergraps yesterday late at night, 5 fishing bots spamming the crap out at the horde landing area, all lvl 12 to 20, they were there for hours, imagine how much fish they caught, and that will circulate in the server's economy. The tile should be "BOT INFESTATION" :P
It's true, I agree, and I think it's a good idea. Sometimes you can still harvest or mine for a while, but it doesn't take long for the bots to appear. Most of the time you set aside time to harvest or mine, but it seems like there are no plants in the region, much less ores on the map. You waste time flying and find nothing, and when you do find something, there are already 2 or 3 bots in front of you picking it up or flying overhead as soon as you arrive. There are many legitimate players who spend hours farming. But the question remains: Where is everything the bot picks up on the map going?
