SoloQ and battlegrounds time in queue and

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the server. I've looked for information but haven't been able to find much about it: I've seen that there are currently about 23k people online and 1k in PvP (Blackrock) alone, but I'm having a really hard time finding matches in soloQ arenas or even Battlegrounds. I just want to know if there's something I'm missing, if there's some kind of event that's driving activity away from there, or if most players are simply AFK.

Another question I have is when arena points are awarded, how many are given (is it based on rating?), or if there’s anywhere I can find information on that.

Heyo, I've no idea why soloq queue times are so bad. Works fine when playing healer though. You get arena points on Wednesday morning. If you have 0 rating you get 500 points. The higher rating you have the more points you get. I don't know the math to calculate how many points you get at a certain rating

most players duel. there are also many bots in the starting area so the numbers are a little lower. even retail wow struggles to get fast soloqueues and they have a much higher playerbase.
