Technical Esc key open menu at the first press instead of deselecting target

Hi everyone,

When I'm pressing the "esc" key when I'm targeting something, the I expected that:
-first press deselects target
-second press opens menu

In my case, it directly open menu. I saw that there was this topic before posted here & reddit, but not with a successful result.

Any chance there was a fix/solution in the mean time?

It's a years-long bug, has something to do with the anticheat
