But even if my friend and I are doing incredible. We're still teamed up with 3 or 2 other people that just completely ruin the game for us.

Which shouldn't matter for 2 reasons:

1) MMR isn't just based on winning, so if you really do well, then your MMR should still be increasing.

2) You said that you play the carry, considering you have a friend with you on lane, it should usually result in a win for your lane. If you play a carry and got a great start then you should be winning 2v5 easily, as long as you don't run around the map trying to defend towers that can't be protected. The other 3 people might be mentally challenged, but they can still act as meat shields, just play with that mentality.

Sure you won't be winning every game, but you can easily run with a 60% ratio and cruise through the trench.
