@Aiovous He never said they we're MMORPGs, the argument was about MMO's (which is massive multiplayer online) which does include those he named:P
+ To all the people claiming that wow isn't as profitable to blizzard as it used to be, it still kinda is due to the insane amount of mini-purchases that happen such as instant lvl ups or mounts or w/e. so the cashcow hasn't run dry yet

What's the point of comparing WoW to other MMO's in order to say that it's still the best ? I don't get it.
You guys can repeat that as many times as you want, fact is WoW's no more what it used to be, and that's what matter right now.

The dumb thing by blizzard was that they did the best expansion with Litchking, and after it they are trying to do an expansion as good as it, but they will never do it again, its like when you see an movie you totaly love, and when they doing an second movie, its never so good as the first. Im playing retail, you can do it like before, do lfr, or doing raid with your guild, and its still like before, or you can do the easy way, build garrison and get gear from that , but that is the boring way to do it, its up to you, i loved litchking, but i dont want to play it year after year, do the same raid , week after week, year after year, thats big boring. Blizzard are making it easier to get new players, how many have been playing it new player if they had to go from the first wow and so on, do you know how slow all were from the begining, an warrior could sit and count his rage so he could give an punch, , blizzard trying to do new expansion wich many will like, and hey know that people will drop of for alot of diffrents reasons, so they have to make it easier to get new players, wow arent an fun thing to do for blizzard, its their cashflow, so they can go with profit. look at diablo 2, all who played diablo 2 loved it, but know they got big problem with diablo 3, so they must do wow good to get in cash to blizzard, but what i like is that i can go to retail and play wod there, and when that is little boring, i go to privat server as warmane and can play different expansions there , if i only had litchking to play, i would be so bored with it now that i had probably stopped playing wow for some years ago, as many maby dont know, when you have killed Litchking in hc you have compleated the expansion, and do that over and over agian, that isnt fun, thats boring! so lucky for us, blizzard still doing new expansions so we dont being bored!

I don't know what the hell Blizzard was thinking when they made this expansion. Twitter and selfie cams? who the fuk wants to get on wow and take selfies of their characters and play family with garrions?

Those are minor and simple implementations that took them probably few days to develop by a few devs in a development team that has hundreds of people...
Anyway, it's expected really, majority of people that bough the "launch hype" aka "casuals" are simply bored because there hasn't been any new content since the start of the expansions and you're paying monthly, this quarter report doesn't include the "WoW Token" subscribers and new patch will be released during that quarter, so subs will likely increase to some point, but besides that this is expected for a 11 years old game.
Well at least it's fun reading the doomsayers nostalgia-driven arguments.

7 Million Subs is still a lot for how old this game is. What 9-11 years old? Have any of you seen a game that lasted even half that long with more than a few hundred thousand players? So regardless of the drop if subs, this game is still going which actually shows that WoW is still a good game. Otherwise people wouldn't be playing it.
