Again, nobody cares what you think. Give your opinion and keep on walking

To be honest, if you're a raider I don't understand why you'd donate for ALL the gear.

Surely the point of raiding is progression. If you're completely overgeared - it must not be as fun?

Anyway, my advice would be buy the 'difficult' pieces. i.e buy maw & 416 trinket or something like that.

Funny how most of the "answers" are people that are masters of life that "suggest" the same thing.. "cloth, food.. bla bla bla" l3l.

    You guys.. I swear lmao.

As for the true topic.. like someone said first TRY your class at warsong/blackrock (depending on the expansion we're talking about) and see how it goes.. best move you can do

EDIT: even more if you got no time.. you should totally first try and see how it goes, people that has no time but money the option to get gear it's always up..

Ok let me restate. You get back ALL the coins you have ever spent. So it doesnt matter if at the time of wipe you didnt have coins.

Or is this $400 your first donation o_0

    Cheers
This is my first donation, I never put any money into the site before.

You dont know what is vacation, holyday or whatever? o.O Thats real life.
I know what a vacation is, I just don't know what vacation you're referring to. I have no time off! :P

my statistics are based on what people say on the forum and IRL about spending money on games, or did you think this is my first day here?
the OP wants to know if it's worth spending that money on a HOLY PALADIN, he does not need financial planning nor do I think you are good at it
Yeah, I've seen some of the forum posts, and I know from personal experience how important it is to donate to keep awesome sites like this running. A close group of friends of mine used to hang out on a site called Cloudsdale.org, wonderful place, it's where I met them. It went to **** because no one was donating anymore, and eventually shut down for good.

I totally understand where you're coming from, I'm actually buying the heroic Immolation set and not the maxed raid gear, that way I still have something to work towards. However, other things like the heroic Maw and offhand, as well as my trinkets, are all top level when I buy them.

And I'm not really a raider, like I said, I'm inexperienced in this area, that's why I want to try it out before I can't anymore.

I'm playing on Neltharion, Cataclysm server. And again, I'm not inexperienced at the class itself, just the raids that I want to run, that's all. It's just some of the PvE content that I never got to experience in Cata, but as for class strategies, builds, glyphs, etc etc, I'm all set for what I need to do, because I used to run pallies on both my past Warmane account, and for years in retail.

  7. My question is: would it be worth it to donate $400 to completely gear out a Holy Paladin for raids?

No! Part of the fun should be you leveling and gearing up (that which isn't that hard to do on Warmane Servers). Even if you have nothing to spend your money on right now, plenty of things could come up or come your way. Like someone above me said, spending $400 dollars on some pixelated gear is just silly and stupid, if you feel like taking a short cut, then just boost yourself to end game and call it that. Trust me, sooner or later you'll look back and thank me and mostly thank yourself for not being an ***** and wasting that much money on something that might not matter a few months from now. Just save it and sit on it til you really need it or until you buy something you really need months from now.

  8. I think you should probably donate for a few pieces of gear, because in my opinion, if you have all the full latest BiS gear the game would become boring. Part of the fun is to kill a boss in hopes to legitimately win a piece of gear you really needed. I would get mounts and other vanity stuff instead. That's just how I see it, you're free to do whatever you please with your money.
