1. Can you two guys calm down? If it's Wens it's Wens.... Many would like to have it on Friday or Monday/Sunday, you can't cater to everyone... Resulting to insults is just childish and doesn't lead to anything useful to the discussion. My old quoute still applies that we can forward our opinion but it's Warmane staff who decides.

  2. http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....Raid-reset-day

Read - they changed the thoughts about this after 15min of their inital statement. (and the inital statement didnt sound like *ugh* we are still thinking about it)
My first post was just an answer to his question, at that point raid resets were set to be on Saturday. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we never had raid reset on this day on any realm, which is why i brought up this issue with some other staff members, and they agreed that changing the day depending on what would suit most people would be a good idea.

This whole talk about us catering to a specific guild is quite silly. Why would we ever do such thing, how would that benefit us or the server in general? Think about that, and please drop this conspiracy talk.

That would make sense if it actually did help most people. As shown in this thread, it doesnt.

Can't base one threads opinion of the whole server :)

Yea if only there was something like, idk, statistics to go off of.

Well they have access to something to base their opinions off or something else to justify their choice so... But you have to ask them personally for that.

They have access to chat logs and the forums. I have half the amount of information that they do but I really doubt they sat there and looked through all of those chat logs to see what the raid days of every guild on the server is.

FUN FACT: Most guilds actually raid during the week ingame (Many of them are NA and EU) So if they did look at chatlogs then they didnt look hard enough :)

  8. A statistic that most people know is that warmanes population consists of many more EU players than NA. They are trying to cater to everyone.

  9. This must be the most useless thread made so far, besides all the rdf threads. You really think you can have around 15 guilds on the same line? You can't make everyone happy, we did not influence the change of the reset day in any way the change of the reset day. If we were able to do that, we could as well be staff members, where in the end the decision happens.

  10. So, did we settle on Wednesday-resets for now?

Must say I'm a bit surprised at this perceived majority raiding weekends. Sundays, sure, but Saturdays? I also don't get the server first argument: If you seriously believe you are in the race for server first then you probably have the flexibility to change a raid day. From my 3+ years at private servers I have yet to see a single top-tier guild planning their entire raiding schedule around weekends.

  11. Why is this thread still even open?
The current raid reset day cuts week day raiding guilds in half. Should be changed.

  12. I'd rather just they go the blizzard schedule and reset on Tuesdays.
