About TBC launch and cash shop

Obnoxious, do you know if the Store system remains the exact same for TBC? Currently it felt like we are 2 phases behind on gear on the store for the majority of the time during vanilla.
From what I can tell currently, we would only get T4 items midway through T5 (and to be honest, who needs it that late).
If I remember correctly, back on the first TBC realm we were able to buy T5 items during T5 (after the item was looted 15-20 times or some random number).

Would be awesome if you could share some information about it, maybe I am misinformed since I did not play vanilla very actively.

Ok thank you for the reply, Obnoxious. Would be a great addition to be able to buy that 1-2 missing pieces which wont drop. On the other hand I get it, makes it less exciting to loot smth like DST in the first place.
