Thank you for some information. I think I speak for the whole Onyxia community when I say that you guys NEED to be better at informing your playerbase. By just communicating more regarding every aspect and some ideas / polls will make the server a lot better in the future.
Now, it feels better knowing a few things, allthough I need to comment of what you said.
Quote:I want to start off with the idea of launching Blackrock TBC being key for a healthy pvp enviroment for Onyxia.
This is based on previous experience from Frostmourne and meassuring the pvp activity on Onyxia over the past months.
1: You think a instant 70 server will help the pvp scene on Onyxia, allthough Outland was ALIVE when you guys hosted it. BGs could pop at any time of the day all the way to the end of the server, I'm 100% sure that Onyxia will be the same. I understand that there are people that doesn't want the whole gameplay of tbc. Leveling, raiding, repfarming isn't for everyone and I understand your decision on this.
2: The PvP activity on Onyxia over the past months has been dead. Dead because there are 0 reasons for people to do BGs except "for fun".
The honor grind started in AV, people were AFKing alot and you guys are aware of this being a major issue since so many people have talked about it.
The R14 grind was the only reason, you can't even buy anything with the honor gained. Once majority got their R14 gear/weapons, the BGs died out.
All of this changes in TBC of course.
What are your future plans to deal with AFK-avoiding players from Blackrock? If they get reported and banned ( which people barely gets ) they can just make a new account, instant 70 and do it all again.
Anyways, thanks for clarifying some of the issues that made me personally most nervous about.
